Yin Yoga
What is it about?
It’s a more modern practice and it’s more focused on endurance and strength for the body. It works by holding postures during a period of time between 4-7 minutes, more or less. Different supports will be used such as bricks, cushions or blankets to, little by little, improve and achieve longer time periods without help in each posture. Its goal is to eliminate accumulated tension throughout the day within the connective tissue, articulations and mind.
Who is it for?
It’s aimed for those who want to work on flexibility and stability of articulations, and for those who want to learn how to relax their mind through the liberation of their body. Very adequate also for older people who want to relieve joint discomfort and keep their body with an optimum performance.
